Many people have suspected for a long time, including John Young of Cryptome, Wayne Madsen, Mike Rivero, Webster Tarpley and Alex Jones that Julian Assange is a sort of “Emmanuel Goldstein” boogeyman and propaganda tool for a larger organization. The latest round of “leaks” of State Department diplomatic chatter basically flesh this out. The summaries from the leaks are not at all surprising except for the parts that are clearly aimed at destroying Hillary Clinton and her future presidential bid against Obama and the parts that assert Saudi Arabia’s fervent desire for the US to bomb Iran – hah, more like ISRAEL’s fervent desire…

Many others speculate that Assange’s firm assertion of the threat of Al-Qaeda and their involvement in 9/11, in contrast with what is clearly an inside job, is a dead giveaway that Assange is some kind of governmental operative and not the maverick whistleblower we all wistfully want him to be.

John Young’s well-reasoned argument is based on the secrecy and lack of transparency of Wikileaks’ financial activities.

This popped up on whatreallyhappened.com today about a youtube video of Assange making various claims about what Wikileaks have leaked, including the ClimateGate leaks.

My bit of research to this snowballing scandal-within-a-scandal was prompted by observations by others of the DHS recently freezing the domain names of several websites that allegedly are linked to copyright violations while they do not bother doing so with wikileaks.org. Really? Come on. So I had to check for myself, thinking that it was possible that wikileaks.org ‘s authoritative name server was in some international territory that the US doesn’t have jurisdiction or influence over (like that would stop CIA thugs from infiltrating and influencing), but it’s frickin everydns.net which has an address in NH. That about seals the deal for me. I find it completely incredible that the DHS could not request everydns.net to remove their SOA records for wikileaks.org if they were such a threat to the US government as is being hyped in the lamestream media.

Here is the whois data on wikileaks.org which will show who the authoritative name servers are for it:

Does the DHS not have jurisdiction in New Hampshire? I call bullshit. I agree with the general assessment that this is a last-ditch attempt at drumming up international support for an attack on Iran and that it’s also a convenient opportunity for the Obama administration and its handlers to derail Clinton’s bid for the 2012 presidential elections. Considering how deep the AIPAC/AMDOCS tentacles go in governments worldwide, it’s not at all surprising that there are no cables referencing Israel in these “leaks”.

Update: even Zbigniew Brzezinski smells a rat!
Also, very pithy in-depth analysis before the last leak

Update: one thing I forgot was to also note the 2 IP addresses that wikileaks.org resolves to are in netblocks owned by OVH SAS in France and Bahnhof Internet in Sweden.

Update 2010 Dec 03: Interesting coincidence – wikileaks.org has been suspended. While the main site is still responsive by IP, it comes back with

“not found, overloaded or other issues …

We are sorry but we cannot answer your request at the moment.

This may be any kind of error.”

The blog is still responsive by IP.

Velly interestink…

Update 1 year later, 11 Dec 2011:

Assange powwows with fellow disinfo agents

I stumbled into the Land Destroyer blog and an expose on a Thai newspaper that sells itself as independent but is apparently funded by the National Endowment for Democracy in the USA which doesn’t sound very independent to me. Something that caught my eye was the above photo of Assange videophoning in to an International Media Support funded gathering of journalists. The article author makes links between Soros-funded organizations and IMS – apparently the Media Development Loan Fund was one of the initial fund contributors to IMS. More information on MDLF here.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if these orgs are just tentacles of the Great Beast.

Update 01 Oct 2012: Stickyfying due to Hang The Bankers reporting on a Veterans Today article talking about this subject.
