My dad introduced me to the research that’s being done on telomere shortening and how to prevent or at least reduce this shortening.

Telomeres are the ends of our chromosomes, the endcaps on our DNA strands.  Whenever there is cell division, for example, those ends lose a little mass.  A telomere-shortening-based theory for the cause of aging, heart attack and length of life.
